The scene was set last week as a lost form of art resurfaced on the walls of the New Design High School thanks to the good people at Mass Appeal and Rooftop Legends. Graffing is a thankless form of art as you aren’t celebrated in the monochromatic walls of an avant-garde museum, which is why it was good to see both teams come together to curate an event that was decorated by artists such as Shiro One, Spot, Dragon76, Cernesto, Skeme, and Blusterone just to name a few. Not to mention lDJ Kast One and the rest of the heavy hitters to bless the turn tables with some good old “Running from the police music.” ‘Twas a good time for nostalgia indeed.
